Annual leave in Cyprus: Rights and regulations for employees
Paid annual leave is a legally protected right of all employees in the public and private sectors in Cyprus, including apprentices. The relevant law was enacted on March 3, 1967, and came into force on August 1 of the same year. It regulates the number of entitled vacation days, compensation, and conditions for transferring unused days.
