Anorthosis receives final transfer ban for two periods
The International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected the appeal by football club Anorthosis Famagusta against a FIFA sanction regarding player Elton Ferreira. The club is therefore prohibited from signing new players in the next two transfer periods. The ban was imposed because the club's violations were deemed serious.
