Anti-corruption authority: government plans law for investigators
The Cypriot government announced it would prepare legislation granting the anti-corruption authority the power to appoint investigators in criminal proceedings. The authority has received 849 corruption-related reports to date, while the Attorney General also advocates for dialogue to prevent legal gaps.
