Appeals Court Overturns Conviction in Arakapas Fire Case
The appeals court unanimously overturned the eight-year conviction of a 69-year-old man who was held responsible for the brush fire in Limassol in July 2021 that killed four workers. The court found that guilt had not been proven beyond doubt, more than three years after the original verdict.
