Appeals Court Rejects Harsher Sentences for Child Pornography
The appeals court rejected harsher sentences sought by Attorney General George Savvides in a child pornography case and upheld the verdicts of the Nicosia District Court. The convicted person possessed and acquired hundreds of child pornography files. The unanimous ruling on Saturday rejected the Attorney General's appeal and maintained the original sentences.
