Approximately 1,000 Illegal Gyms on Cyprus
A recent report by the Audit Office readdresses the problem of illegal gyms on Cyprus. Christie Panayiotou, fitness instructor and president of the Association of Gym Owners of Cyprus (PASIGY), expresses concern about the lack of licensing for many gyms and the possible illegal conversion of physical therapy centers into fitness studios.
