April record rainfall: 111% above normal in first week
Cyprus is experiencing unusually high rainfall in April – already in the first week, the normal monthly amount was exceeded by 111%. The Cypriot Meteorological Office recorded an average precipitation of 33.2 millimeters from April 1-7. High rainfall rates were recorded in several regions of the country.
