Arakapas arsonist acquitted by appeals court
A 69-year-old man who was sentenced to eight years imprisonment for the 2021 Arakapas fire was unanimously acquitted by the appeals court. The court found that the evidence did not conclusively prove his guilt. The man had already served three years of his sentence.
