Archaeological Museum in Thessaloniki Opens
A new museum has opened in Thessaloniki featuring over 300,000 artifacts discovered during subway construction excavations. The finds – including coins, jewelry, mosaics, frescoes, and tools – document the city's history from its founding in 316 B.C. to the early 20th century and provide a unique archaeological cross-section.
