Archaeological Study: Monte Verde Could Be Younger Than Thought
A new study published in the journal Science questions the previous dating of the archaeological site Monte Verde in Chile. The site, which for nearly a century has been considered evidence of the earliest human settlement of the Americas, could be tens of thousands of years younger than previously assumed. This could fundamentally change our understanding of human migration history to the New World.
