Archaeologists discover 2,500-year-old mass grave of infants in Israel
Researchers have discovered a 2,500-year-old mass grave containing infants during excavations in Azekah, Israel, providing new insights into ancient burial practices in the Middle East. The remains were found in an abandoned cistern on a hill southwest of Jerusalem. The research findings have only now been published, more than ten years after the original excavation.
