Archaeologists discover 7,000-year-old settlement in Pyrenees cave
New archaeological findings show that prehistoric communities in the eastern Pyrenees regularly visited a cave over several millennia. The study, led by Carlos Tornero, refutes the previous assumption that ancient humans only passed through alpine high regions temporarily. The research was published in the journal Frontiers in Environmental Archaeology.
