Archaeologists discover ancient Greco-Roman city beneath Alexandria
Excavations in the Muharram Bek district of Alexandria, Egypt, have uncovered significant architectural remains from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods. The Egyptian Antiquities Authority presented the findings, which provide new insights into Alexandria's urban development following its founding by Alexander the Great.
