Archaeologists discover ancient rock art during Mexico railway project
During construction work for a major railway project between Mexico City and Querétaro, archaeologists have discovered ancient rock art. The excavation is being carried out as part of an archaeological rescue project under the direction of the Mexican Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Anthropology and History. Researchers identified 16 graphic elements on the rocks.
