Archaeologists reveal hidden structures beneath ancient Olympia
Researchers have succeeded in uncovering previously unknown structures beneath the ancient Olympia site in Greece. Using modern archaeological methods, they identified a possibly former harbor basin as well as a river dam hidden underground for millennia in the Peloponnese. The findings were published in the journal Archaeological Prospection.
