Archaeology: 'Lady with Upturned Crown' Excavated in Greece
A rescue excavation on the eastern slopes of Lake Kopaida in Central Greece has uncovered an elite grave from the Archaic period, which archaeologists refer to as the 'Lady with Upturned Crown.' The site is located approximately six kilometers north of the Apollo sanctuary of Ptoios.
