Archdiocese: Tychikas struck priest - witnesses confirm incident
The Archdiocese of Cyprus has issued a statement regarding an incident between suspended Metropolitan Tychikas and a priest. According to the church authorities, Tychikas attacked the temple superintendent and pushed him away, for which there are witness statements. The Archdiocese also denies that prosecutor Phaithon received instructions to fabricate charges against the Metropolitan.
