Artemis II Moon mission successfully launched
The historic NASA moon mission Artemis II has successfully launched, marking the beginning of a ten-day journey around the moon. Approximately eight minutes after launch, the uncrewed Orion capsule separated from the SLS launch rocket as planned and was placed into Earth orbit.
