Asylum Law Reform Before Parliament – EU Migration Pact by June 2026
A bill to amend the asylum law is approaching a parliamentary vote after the House's Interior Committee completed its review. The aim is to fully align Cyprus with the new European Migration and Asylum Pact before it enters into force in June 2026. Deputy Migration Minister Nicolas Ioannides is coordinating the implementation of this EU directive.
