Athens Plans Hotel Bed Cap Against Overtourism
Athens Mayor Harris Doukas has proposed initiating discussions on introducing a ceiling for hotel rooms in the city center. The goal is to regulate tourism density and direct investments to less populated city districts. The city administration has already begun initial talks with the hotel industry.
