Audit in Nicosia: 54% of Building Permits Violate Regulations
A spot check by the Nicosia district organization for municipal administration (DLGO) shows that more than half of the rapidly processed building permits contain significant violations of planning regulations. This raises concerns that home buyers and property owners could unintentionally come into possession of illegal buildings.
