Audit Office Warns Against Permanent Portable Classrooms
The Cypriot Audit Office warned in a special report against the widespread use of portable classrooms in public schools as a permanent or semi-permanent solution to overcrowding. Auditor Andreas Papaconstantinou pointed to significant deficiencies in planning, monitoring, and management of school infrastructure, with the Audit Office not fundamentally rejecting the use of portable classrooms.
