August Rainfall Significantly Below Normal
In August 2026, Cyprus has recorded only 41 percent of normal rainfall for this month so far. Between August 1 and 17, significantly less rain fell on average than usual, with individual regions deviating more from normal values than others. The Meteorological Service published these preliminary figures on Monday.
