Authorities strengthen controls on students from third countries
Deputy Minister for Migration and International Protection Nikolaos Ioanides and Education Minister Athena Michailidou agreed to strengthen controls and cooperation between competent authorities to combat abuse of the higher education system by third country nationals. The goal is to identify cases where study stays are being misused for other purposes.
