Avertoff criticizes possible UN candidacy of Sinirlioglu
Cypriot politician Averoff Neofytou expressed sharp criticism of plans to promote Turkish national Feridun Sinirlioglu for the position of UN Secretary-General. He accused Cyprus of failing to use its veto right, although blocking his election to the position of OSCE Secretary-General would have been possible.
