Banks Pay Record Tax Sum – €427 Million in 2025
The Cypriot banking sector contributed a total of 427 million euros in taxes in 2025, the highest level in the last eight years. This represents over 5 percent of total state tax revenue and shows an increase of 19 million euros compared to the previous year.
