Banks Significantly Increase Mortgage Lending
Cypriot banks pumped significantly more money into mortgage loans in the first quarter of 2026 without overdoing it. Corporate lending remained stable. Total lending grew in March 2026 by 5.5% year-over-year, significantly more than 0.4% in March 2025.
