Basic food prices in Cyprus increased by average of 5-6%
The Cypriot consumer protection organization reports that prices for 250 basic food items increased in May 2026. The strongest increases were recorded in processed meat products (6.4%), frozen food (6.3%), and vegetable oils (5.1%).
