BirdLife Cyprus Rings Griffon Vulture Chicks for First Time
BirdLife Cyprus marks a griffon vulture chick with a ring and GPS transmitter for the first time to increase the population of this endangered species on the island. The juvenile birds were transported from Spain to Cyprus to support population recovery. This is an important step for nature conservation work on the island.
