Blue Tongue Disease Kills Ten Animals on Farms
Three sheep and goat farming operations in the Nicosia and Limassol districts are affected by blue tongue disease, with 46 animals infected and ten deaths recorded. The head of veterinary authorities warned that the disease could continue to spread through small biting insects. Further infections on neighboring farms are feared.
