Border controls: Hidden cigarette cartons confiscated
The customs office conducted enhanced controls at the Ledra Street and Agiou Dometios crossing points. Over five days (August 23-27), untaxed tobacco products were discovered three times in passenger luggage and taxis. Fines totaling 5,090 euros were imposed.
