Bounced checks surge sharply in June
The value of bounced checks in Cyprus rose to 37,188 euros in June, although the number of cases increased only slightly. With 16 registered bounced checks (compared to 13 in June 2025), a negative payment trend is evident, according to the Central Bank of Cyprus.
