Britain Bans Cigarette Sales for Those Born After 2008
The British Parliament has approved historic legislation aiming for a smoke-free society. The bill prohibits the sale of cigarettes to all persons born after 2008. Britain will thereby become the second nation worldwide to implement such a comprehensive smoking ban.
