British coat of arms in Nicosia left to decay
The protective shield over the British royal coat of arms at the Old Court in occupied Nicosia has been damaged for approximately six months and no longer protects the colonial emblem from weathering. The transparent covering that had protected the emblem for years is now destroyed, resulting in a symbolic deterioration at this historic site.
