British-Cypriot MP relocated to Manchester
British-Cypriot Member of Parliament Nesil Caliskan was moved to Manchester as part of Prime Minister Andy Burnham's initiative to decentralize government structures, to the new "No 10 North". Caliskan has served as Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Devolution, Local Growth and Communities since May.
