British Gaza activist convicted of arson attacks
51-year-old Martha Gondard was found guilty in Britain of carrying out several arson attacks on two Starbucks branches, a McDonald's, and a BBC office in Norwich. According to prosecutors, the attacks were a protest action against Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip. Following a twelve-day trial at Woolwich Crown Court, Gondard faces a prison sentence of several years.
