Building irregularities detected in over half of all ongoing construction projects
A current analysis shows that 54% of ongoing construction projects in Cyprus have serious irregularities. This is particularly concerning because accelerated building permits provide for an automatic procedure without oversight, with responsibility transferred to planners. Buyers and developers could face risks that their buildings may not comply with legal regulations.
