Building permits in Famagusta exceed 2025 annual quota
The Famagusta district recorded a significant increase in building permits during the first nine months of 2026. The district administration (EOA) processed 646 building permits by the end of September – that is 40.1 percent more than the entire annual average of 2025. This development signals intensified construction activity in the region.
