Bus driver caught with over four times the legal alcohol limit at the wheel
A 58-year-old bus driver was subjected to a traffic control yesterday evening on the Nicosia-Limassol highway. The breathalyzer test showed a value of 44μg%, approximately five times higher than the permitted limit of 9μg%. The driver was taken to Pera Chorio police station, where a final test was conducted. His driving license was revoked.
