Business insolvencies in Cyprus decline by 41.7 percent
Cyprus recorded the second-highest decline in business insolvency filings in the EU in the second quarter of 2026 with 41.7 percent, behind Malta with 50 percent. However, Eurostat warns that this percentage could be overstated due to the small number of cases on the island.
