Cabinet approves financial aid for storm damage from August 29
The Cypriot cabinet approved financial support on Wednesday for those affected by extreme weather on August 29. Uninsured homeowners can receive up to 20,000 euros for structural damage. Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou explained that the government has set the criteria for ex gratia payments, while district administrations continue to process applications.
