Cabinet to Discuss Police Protection for High-Ranking Politicians
The Cypriot cabinet will address planned changes to police protection for high-ranking politicians next week. Justice Minister Costas Fitiris plans to modernize the protection service, partly due to the changed composition of parliament following the May election. Currently, Parliament President Annita Demetriou has a police escort of ten officers.
