Calm Restored in Buffer Zone After Incident Near Denia
Calm has been restored following an incident between Turkish troops and Greek-Cypriot farmers in the buffer zone near the village of Denia, west of Nicosia. UNFICYP spokesman Aleem Siddique reported that UN peacekeeping forces were immediately on the scene and de-escalated the situation.
