Canada Acquires Swedish GlobalEye Radar Aircraft
Canada signed a preliminary agreement with Swedish defense manufacturer Saab for the acquisition of at least six GlobalEye radar aircraft. These systems are intended primarily for monitoring the Arctic and demonstrate Canada's increased attention to strategic regions.
