Capital Markets Authority: 12 Million Euro in Fines Over Five Years
The Cypriot Capital Markets Authority (ΕΚΚ) reports administrative fines totaling 12 million euros for 2021-2026, over 4,000 inspections, and 20 referrals to the prosecutor's office. Eight licenses of Cypriot investment firms were revoked and 517 warnings were issued for illegal online platforms.
