Care in Cyprus primarily a woman's task - study shows impacts
A study by the Mediterranean Institute for Gender Studies (MIGS) proves that care in Cyprus continues to be primarily regarded as a 'women's matter,' with unequal distribution of domestic care work. The research shows significant impacts on women's careers: 52.8% of surveyed women stated that their professional development was 'significantly' impaired, compared to 33.5% of men.
