Carob farmers demand minimum price or refuse harvest
Carob farmers in Cyprus are threatening not to harvest this year unless they are guaranteed a minimum price of 65 cents per kilogram. The farmers' association expressed serious concerns about the future of carob cultivation and urged producers to unite against the sector's difficulties.
