Catastrophic Landslide in China: 21 Dead and Dozens Missing
A landslide in the village of Gansu in northwestern China has killed at least 21 people and buried 33 others under thousands of tons of mud and rocks. Rescue teams were dispatched to the disaster site in large numbers and the government provided emergency funds for reconstruction.
