Central Bank Maintains Countercyclical Capital Buffer at 1.5%
The Central Bank of the Republic of Cyprus is maintaining the countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB) at 1.5% effective from January 14, 2026. This decision was made within the framework of macroprudential supervisory powers under the relevant legislation.
