Central Bank Warns of Growing Balance of Payments Deficit
The Central Bank of Cyprus has recorded a deterioration in balance of payments statistics for the first quarter of 2026. The current account deficit has increased from 1,010.1 million euros in the comparison period to 1,273.8 million euros, which also affects the international investment position and foreign debt volume.
